Research interest:
- the structure of the ovary in selected groups of invertebrates (primarily hexapods and crustaceans),
- various aspects of oogenesis in insects and crustaceans (germline cyst formation, previtellogenesis, nucleolus and nuclear bodies, cytoskeleton, diversification of the follicular epithelium),
- the origin and migration of primordial germ cells in various animals,
- early stages of insect embryonic development,
- relationship between the structure of the ovary and phylogenesis of invertebrates,
- cytological and molecular aspects of epithelial integrity
